I tried something new today. Call it a risk, but not really. I've never really trusted like, products that you buy off the shelf in a store because generally, they don't work. But my friend said it worked pretty alright, so I thought I'd give it a try. After all it was only $5.
So, I tried a magic straightening home kit type thing.
I think it worked pretty alright. Better than I expected actually. But everything was in korean so i had to ask my friend how to do it. But yeah, I followed the process and what not, and now, despite my hair being still kinda curly, it feels amazingly soft and smooth compared to it's usual texture. I credit the hair mask.
Even my Essential Damage Care hair mask doesn't make my hair feel like this...
In the product's defense, it was actually the kinda chemicals that hairdressers use (smelled the same anyway), but the only difference was, during the straightening process I sorta lazed it and just straightened it once instead of a crazy amount of times like hairdressers do. And I'm actually kinda glad that I don't have that dead straight kinda obviously-processed hair look.
No after pic shots yet. Maybe one day when I can be bothered chucking some bobby pins in and making some kinda art with my hair. Who knows. haha
